FAIRY ON BOOKS WITH GLOBE

My client wanted to get a special gift for a friend.  She told me lots of things about her and we came up with this design.

She lives on a farm in Corsica, where they make brandy (I have to admit I am very jealous of this fairy !)  She is a teacher and has 2 kids.  She also loves to travel and is planning to do lots after her retirement.

So, she is sitting on books, carved by Will, representing her life as a teacher and love of learning.

In her hands are a crystal globe, representing travel and a bunch of grapes, representing the brandy.

Sitting next to her on the books are 2 butterflies, representing her kids in their birthstone colours.

She would have stood at about 420mm head to toe.
